So I say to Janis, 'how about another retreat? Are you up to it?' Of course she's 'up to it'. Janis is always up to it! Then I confessed that I'm taking names...these people have no idea what we're going to make them do, but they're willing to sign up for anything going. Gals, I like your spunk!

Just when I think I'm in control of my world, Janis phones. How about a booth at the plowing match? Well I don't know, that's a little out of my comfort zone ya know. Come on, it will be fun! I know Janis fun, starts at 5am.....Wendy fun starts at noon...SIX days of Janis fun may very well kill me, but I'll give it a try...see this weary face....

Let's recap - Plowing match runs from September 16-20 with set up the day before - in Teeswater....I don't know where Teeswater is, maybe Janis does...hope to see everyone there, PLEASE

Retreat - September 26-28 from here....Spirit Rock Motel/Mother's Fabric in Wiarton....hopefully I can still find that after SIX days of Janis fun! Still spaces available for those with a sense of humour.

• Wendy, Wendy, Wendy! Was Texas really all that long ago? Yes, you started out giving me the gears about my early rising BUT I do recall some days when I was hard pressed to keep up with you and at least one day when you were up and ready to go way ahead of me. For anyone hesitating to come to the retreat, I can't promise that I won't hassle you about rotary cutter safety but I will promise NO THREE HOUR HIKES! Actually there will be no hikes at all unless you twist my arm... LOL Looking forward to the IPM and five early mornings - we'll have about an hour and a quarter drive to get there. I'll do the morning drive so you can sleep, OK?
