Easter

What perfect weather for Easter weekend! I had a wonderful visit on Easter Sunday with most of my kids....WooHoo! I hope everyone managed to get outside and enjoy the great day. It's not every year that we can have turkey dinner at the picnic table.
Tara got to take home her crazy quilt. That's the first of seven that I made for my Mother's grandkids. Tara's friend Jules is taking the picture and Cameron declined to be included....must be a guy thing. Someone should have told this grandma that she looked a little frumpy. What can I say, we had just been hiking (no black flies yet) and we had just finished turkey dinner. Perhaps I should have skipped that part. Oh well Tara and the grandkids look pretty wonderful!
Here's the seven. I made these as a keepsake for my Mother's grandkids (my three, and my 4 nieces). I used Mom's stash, and some of Mom's orphan blocks. Each child will receive a lap quilt.
