LOST - ONE ORANGE CAT.....
didn't I say to keep the door shut!
Well, he made it through Friday night. 30 people in and out....Oliver stayed in the house. Shut the door! Don't let the cat out!
However, Saturday night I went to bed early. I didn't stay up to say - Shut the door! Don't let the cat out! Good Grief! This is not rocket science people! Come on!
You guessed it, Sunday morning, Oliver is gone....then I'm told 'Grandma, I'm pretty sure I heard the fox last night. You said it sounds like a puppy with a sore throat.' Thanks Cassie. So here it is Tuesday 5am and Oliver is still not here. Well, NUTS!
It's not so bad that I've got $300.00 invested in the little hairball. But darn it all, he has got me through some pretty dark days. We've checked the bush. We've checked the roadside ditches. Maybe he just chased the fish flies....and can't find his way home....I miss him. Cameron misses him...I want my cat back!
So here we go.....LOST, ONE ORANGE TOM CAT. Sometimes will look at you, when you call OLIVER. Nine months old....hyper. Likes to shread curtains and bounce into windows. Great at catching mosquitoes and flies. Loves to tackle older cats (Patches is looking very smug these days. She knows something) and swing from skirts. Plays tag with your feet, while flying downstairs. Loves treats........humm....
Opening of Bass was on Saturday. If you knew Ted, he loved bass season, and managed to fish a few of the pro bass tournaments over the years. So, Friday we had a little memorial for Ted out at the Rankin Boat launch. It's amazing. You call people, and they come! Bless you! This was also the first time in ages that I have all of my nieces together at the same time. So there goes 4 more crazy quilts! They seemed happy, and recognized quite a few of their grandmother's fabrics. The last two are for Dawn and Cameron (my kids). Tara received hers at Easter.
