Where have I been?

WOO! These last few weeks have been a rush! My neice Amy and I went out East in September. We managed to find one fabric store. We didn't have a lot of time to look. Only one week! New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia....you get the idea, right?
Oh yes! Then there is the Beast.... we have added a longarm quilting machine to our store. What was I thinking? I'm a visual person. So when I'm told it's 14 feet long, get ready, I really can't picture it. Yes, I have a measuring tape. It just didn't register....that I really should be... removing a wall. Yep! This just will not do...So the wall came down with the help of a small chain saw and Joan's hubby. Now I just have to move the Beast into it's permanent home. It's amazing how much time you waste walking wall parts to the dumpster when you don't have a helper.
After I tame the Beast, we will be giving lessons on how to use it, then renting it out. I'm aiming for the end of January, or February. It depends on the attitude of the Beast and myself.
