SUMMER CLASSES

OK PEOPLE...YOU'VE ASKED FOR IT AND WE'VE ORGANIZED IT....don't disappoint us now. Summer classes are ready for you to sign up for. We've set aside the dates, and organized the teachers.  Now we just need the students.

Thursday, July 22- CRAZY CATS with Kathryn. Thanks to those crazy women from Buggy Barn, for their great ideas. This is only one pattern from their book, 'That Crazy Thing We Do'. This is always a fun class. 9:30-3:30pm. Bring a lunch. $25.00 plus book and fabric.

Tuesday, July 13 - 9:30 - 3pm. RAGGY JACKET

The folks from Four Corners have this wonderful pattern for a cosy spring and fall jacket. Cost $25.00 plus pattern and fabric. Bring your lunch.

CRAZY QUILT BLOCK - Friday July 23 - 9:30-3pm.

We provide the pattern for this one! AND you may bring your own scraps of fabric to make one crazy block! We will be using the quilt as you go method. Cost $25.00. Bring your lunch.

Paper Piecing for beginners...Tues., August 10 - 9:30-3pm

OK pretend this picture is of a polar bear ice fishing.MH Designs has the most wonderful patterns for the beginner paper piecer. Cost $25.00 plus pattern and fabric. Bring your lunch.

 LEARN TO APPLIQUE with Kathryn. We have started an applique club.

 You are welcome to join us, Saturday, July 17th or Tuesday, July 20th. We will be meeting once a month to learn to applique. You will be working your way through a wonderful book by Carol Armstrong. Join us each month or just when it's convenient. The cost is $25.00 plus the book, for your first visit....additional visits are just $20.00 each time. It will be an all day event, so bring your lunch. No sewing machine is required for this adventure into needlework!

KITTIES IN THE CORNER - Saturday, August 14 -9:30-3.

This is the next level in hand applique. We are classing this as intermediate. Make this great wall hanging with Kathy.

 Cost $25.00 plus pattern and fabric. Bring your lunch.

PATCHABILITIES -Tuesday,August 24- 9:30-3pm.  Choose your kit and we will supply the backing and batting. You will go home with a completed project (provided you don't spend the class horsing around!). Cost $25.00 plus kit. Bring your lunch. Remember, NO FOOD FIGHTS!

STACK AND WHACK FANS- Wed. August 25 - 9:30-3pm

This is the easiest of stack and whack thanks to Bethany Reynolds. You will make a traditional looking quilt, using a new and improved method. Cost $25.00 plus pattern and fabric. Bring your lunch.

TULIP BELL TABLE RUNNER.....picture to follow shortly, Kathy's working on the sample now. Thursday, August 19 - 9:30-3pm. This is a pattern by Southwest Designs. Fabric folding creates the illusion of curves without sewing curved pieces. Cost $25.00 plus pattern and fabric. Bring your lunch.

UFO DAY.....$10.00 GETS YOU SPACE AT OUR TABLE AND HELP TO PUSH YOU TOWARDS FINISHING THAT PROJECT THAT YOU STARTED AT OUR STORE. We can't help you if we didn't teach the class.....So that's the rule, OK? The dates are JULY 16 - AUGUST 13 - SEPT 24 -9:30-3PM. Call ahead to book you spot.
